Rob Emrich is an entrepreneur, inventor and the Founder & CEO of The Mobile Majority (TMM), one of the fastest growing companies in the country. With over $18M raised and 40 TMM employees in five cities, Rob rarely sleeps.Since graduating from the Ohio State University Honors College in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Science and Reason, Rob has founded and served as chief executive of six start ups and social ventures, (4 wins, 1 loss, 1 TBD). His ventures have included the nonprofit Road of Life, which distributed over $70 Million of cancer prevention curriculum, and BULX, which was acquired by DealYard.com in 2011.
Rob has presented at numerous industry events and universities, including the 4A’s Transformation conference, The 2014 Global Mobile Internet Conference, Start Up Weekend, Plug and Play Expo, The UCLA Anderson School of Management, and The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. Additionally, he has been featured in The Lean Entrepreneur , 21 Questions for 21 Millionaires and a number of news outlets, including NPR, TechCrunch, VentureBeat, and CNN Money. At 26, he was the youngest person to ever to win Forty under 40 from Columbus Business First and was named to the SoCalTech 50 in 2014.
Rob loves the outdoors and giving back to his community. he has hiked over 1,000 miles of the Appalachian Trail and has served on a number of philanthropic boards. Family and legacy is of great importance in Rob’s life. He is the Chairman of The Keren Emrich Foundation which makes grants towards pediatric cancer.
James has 20+ years of experience as a technology investor, operating executive, portfolio manager and M&A banker.
James was CFO of Thinaire Transmedia Network, a mobile marketing platform provider. He was the initial investor and CFO pro tem of SoftAware Networks, the first ultra-low latency ISP/CDN, which grew from 12 to 150 employees and exited at $450 million.
Earlier, James was an international private equity portfolio manager at Morgan Stanley. He commenced his career as an M&A banker at Merrill Lynch.
James is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business with a BS in International Economics, Finance and Marketing.
Philanthropically, James sponsored the creation of the Global Creative Forum to engage the entertainment makers in the humanitarian work of the UN.
Matt is an experienced marketer with a propensity to help brands use digital systems effectively. An entrepreneur at heart, Matt co-founded three companies in the digital marketing space prior to joining The Mobile Majority. Most recently, he honed his skills through extensive agency experience where he worked with well over 100 national brands, local businesses, schools, non-profit journalism groups, and start-ups to grow and integrate their digital footprint.
Jonathan Barek is responsible for overseeing all of the company’s financial operations. Jonathan brings over two decades of experience across corporate finance, venture capital, corporate development, and investment management.
Jonathan most recently was Director of Investment Management and Head of the US Venture Capital team at Capital Dynamics, where he oversaw funds-of-funds with more than $1 billion in commitments to venture capital firms, made commitments to a variety of venture capital funds, and led efforts to acquire secondary interests in venture capital funds or in venture-backed companies. Previously he served in senior operating roles (Chief Financial Officer or head of Corporate Development) for several venture-backed startup companies in Silicon Valley. Earlier in his career, Jonathan served as a Principal at two early-stage Silicon Valley venture capital firms. He began his career in investment banking at Bear Stearns and also worked in project finance for Bank of America in Asia.
Jonathan holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In addition, he studied Chinese at Beijing University.
Chas Wurster oversees all aspects of technology development. Chas has been the technical founder at two startups, one that raised venture funding, and one that was bootstrapped. The most recent, Tapioca Mobile, provided video adaptation and delivery services to ABC, Univision, Gannett, Hearst Corporation, 4Info and more. Prior to that, Chas was a founder and vice president of engineering for Tourmaline Networks, a mobile application development company that sold its email applications through more than 20 mobile operators around the world including Verizon, Vivo and Telefonica.
Chas holds a master’s degree in computer science from the University of California, San Diego and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Harvey Mudd College.

Boasting an accomplished career as a Human Resources Executive, Art has a professional emphasis on organizational leadership, and specializes in unique HR initiatives that use diversity, inclusion, and consensus-building to positively impact the bottom line. Art strongly believes that effective HR practices make a dramatic difference in organizational performance.
Chief Development Officer
Paul joins the team from Phigital where he was co-founder and CEO. Prior to Phigital, Paul was Chief Product Officer, SVP of Corporate Development and GM APAC of Velti, one of the world’s largest mobile advertising and marketing technology companies.
As a global executive and serial entrepreneur with a successful track record in publicly-listed companies, Paul brings deep experience in mobile, advertising, internet infrastructure, software and telecommunications.
Paul holds an A.B. in Economics from Yale University and an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
