Mobile Campaigns for Good
Too often is advertising associated merely with profit – for promoting a brand or selling a product. But limiting the power of advertising solely to those endeavors short-changes the opportunity to do some actual good.
There are causes out there that are really worth advertising for.
This is why we organized the Majority Foundation, and specifically, the Mobile Ad Council.
The Mobile Ad Council is dedicated to delivering public service advertising in the mobile space. The council’s mission is to provide valuable screen time for significant public issues to raise awareness, promote education and enact change. We connect non-profit organizations in need of a louder voice with far-reaching media companies desiring to effect change, and then produce the entire mobile ad campaign in-house and pro-bono.
In 2015, we partnered with ALS TDI and Hearst to assist in driving awareness and fund research for ALS.
Alex Steady, who spearheads the project for The Mobile Majority, hopes to continue the good work and help more causes in need:
“I am super excited to be able to use the power of mobile advertising for good and to give back to the community. The goal of the Majority Foundation is to be able to allow charities and non-profits, who may not have all the funds required, to be able to utilize the prowess and reach of mobile advertising today.”
